1 lemon, juiced (save the rind)
1 cup lemon simple syrup (see below)
1-1/2 cups freshly squeezed orange juice
1-1/2 cups filtered water
tonic water

Step One
Simple Syrup:
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
Lemon rind, chopped into several pieces

Bring the sugar and water to a low boil in a small pan and cook until the sugar dissolves and is clear (about two minutes). Add lemon rind. Let cool, then strain.

Step Two
In a large container combine the orange juice, lemon juice and water. Add the cooled simple syrup and stir well to combine.

Step Three
Mix equal amounts of juice and tonic water, stirring gently. Pour over ice in a large glass.
